Transforming the lives of patients with Keratoconus

I just fitted a scleral lens for a patient with moderate to severe keratoconus, characterized by a pronounced cone shape of the cornea, which we could clearly see under special lighting at our slit-lamp exam.

I’m very thrilled to report that we achieved 20/20 vision for this patient. (Uncorrected VA 20/400)

I am now looking to fine-tune the fit and reduce some visual distortions with the next set of lenses. 😃
